I repeat Aqib Talib was traded for a 5th Round Pick.
Goes to show you how valuable guys are in the NFL compared to how valuable they think they are. Talib is considered by most NFL guys to be a ‘shutdown corner’. A guy that you can just have man to man the best wideout on the other team and your confident he can do the job. It’s not that crazy to think that he’s probably top 10-15 corners in the game.
And all he is worth is a 5th round pick.
I don’t know what that proves more. That annoying loud mouth corners arent worth much? Or that a 5th round draft pick is actually important for a team.
Either way Talib, who is good, is worth a some 5th rounder this year that probably has a 50/50 shot to make the roster week 1. Which seems crazy.
Talib is definitely a thug so maybe they just didn’t want to deal with him or pay him anymore. Couple chain snatches on tape…
