Ahh Summer is here.
With just one major sport left playing games (baseball) until September, there is one major question that will take over the entire summer even more then the new Drake album.
WHERE IS LEBRON GOING TO PLAY NEXT YEAR???
Never has the best player in any sport, still playing at basically the top of his game, become a free agent and held the power of changing the entire landscape of the sport. No matter what town Lebron decides to bless with his talents, they will become an instant contender. Vegas will probably have them as the 4th favorite to win it all. Clearly behind Golden State, Houston, and for now I’ll throw in Boston with their young guns and a healthy Kyrie.
So TeamLebron will evaluate all options available to him. Which is essentially hand picking from the entire league where he wants to move his family and begin his next road to the rings. Also what type of players he wants to play with, or possibly attract to sign along side him somewhere, maybe LA? CP3?
If I’m Lebron, I am not really interested in the Western Conference. Being at the age of 33, combined with the additional mileage his body has earned making the Finals EIGHT straight years, I just would not want to grind out a grueling regular season in the West. Every night your playing the Warriors, Houston, San Antonio, OKC, and even Utah or the Pelicans. No thanks.
Last year the bum ass Raptors took the #1 seed in the East, and Bron swept them without blinking. I’d stick to that conference if I could. Toronto is still a joke, Philly looks young but Embiid is bound to get injured again and Simmons can’t shoot. Miami is an interesting return if Bron can somehow get another max player down there with him. You know Pat Reilly is going to do everything in his power to have the King return to South Beach. Also not a terrible place to live again.
The path of least resistance – The Eastern Conference
Let’s see how this off-season plays out. If your baseball team sucks and your already out of it (*cough* Mets) I would start following this season instead.
