Joe Montana led the San Francisco 49ers to four Super Bowls in his career as their starting QB.
The 49ers never lost while Joe Cool was under center and he was named the Super Bowl MVP three times.
The Notre Dame legend also shined in the regular season passing for 40,551 yards and 273 touchdowns in his great career, making the Pro Bowl eight times and winning back-to-back MVPs in 1989 and 1990.
The Hall of Fame QB was known for his come-from-behind wins. Montana led a fourth-quarter comeback against the Cowboys in the 1981 NFC Championship that was simply known as “The Catch” after finding Dwight Clark in the back of the end zone.
Montana also led the Niners on a 92-yard drive with only 36 seconds left in Super Bowl XXIII.

Tom Brady’s won FIVE of the Eight Super Bowls he’s led the Patriots to.
He’s 183-52 as a starter in the regular season. His 24 playoff wins are the most ever.
His dominating career includes winning two league MVPs, four Super Bowl MVPs and he’s been to the Pro Bowl a ridiculous 11 times.
Tom Terrific entered Super Bowl LII for a record 8th time and now stands alone as the only QB ever to win 5 rings
As a sixth round pick with the 199th selection in the 2000 NFL Draft. After a heavy rib shot dropped Drew Bledsoe and sent Brady into the starting lineup, all he’s done is win and set records since.
His 2007 season was one of the best ever, with 4,806 yards and a then-record 50 touchdowns.
TB will retire with the most Super Bowl wins for any Quarterback in history (5+).
