4. Peyton Manning
Throughout his career on both the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos Peyton was able to win a NFL record FIVE MVPs and two Super Bowls.
He even continued to break records after coming back from a near career-ending neck surgery to play for the Broncos, setting the single-season passing touchdown record with 51 and winning his fifth MVP award.
The former Tennessee Volunteers star was drafted #1 in the 98′ draft and now holds the all-time records for passing yards (71,940) and passing touchdowns (539) in NFL history.
Manning’s only perceived flaw is his postseason resume, no starting quarterback in NFL history has lost more playoff games than Peyton Manning with a post season career record at 14-13.
3. John Elway
Elway’s career started off a little rough, he even threatened to play baseball for the Yankees unless he was traded by the Colts.
Once he arrived in Denver that is when he flourished and became known for his rocket arm, accuracy and agility.
Elway threw for 51,475 yards and 300 touchdowns, good for 6th and 10th all time.
After losing three Super Bowls and being labeled as someone who couldn’t win the big game, he went back to back.
Winning two consecutive Super Bowls finishing his career on top.
Elway has since taken over as the Broncos top executive, leading the team to a championship in Super Bowl 50.
